online teaching workshops

Challenge: College faculty were unable to attend in-person workshops due to pandemic closures and lack of time moving all teaching online.

Solution: Create brief videos in which faculty share their best course management ideas for virtual distribution: conduct virtual faculty interviews, focusing on specific topics.

Tools: Camtasia, Canva

Result: Faculty learn strategies to apply while remaining physically separated. Videos also used for future faculty onboarding.

software training

Challenge: Employees were not using new tracking software which led to a high number of repetitive technical support requests.

Solution: Create a training video about common software tasks. May be combined with an eLearning course or in-person training. These videos represent two approaches to the same content: one animation and one screen capture.

Result: Evaluation metrics include comparisons of the number of requests for help received by software administrators both before and after the videos are distributed.
